Overview

Connect MIDI Baby to your computer using the supplied USB cable, then launch our intuitive web configuration tool. You can then configure MIDI Baby to send a wide variety of useful MIDI messages, configure its inputs and outputs, and even change the LED colors for each function.

Send program changes, continuous controller messages, MIDI notes, and more. Send a list of commands to execute all at once or in a timed sequence. Or use the built-in MIDI clock option to send synchronize your connected MIDI devices.

Compatible with practically every MIDI device ever made. Programmable to meet your needs. And did we mention it’s tiny?

Dedicated USB Host port for interfacing with a wide variety of USB-MIDI devices including the Source Audio C4 / Spectrum and the Strymon V2 pedals.

Editor Application

Our web-based editor application makes configuring your MIDI Baby easy! Configure your hardware options in Global Settings, assign the messages for each foot switch or expression pedal, save and go. Want to switch between multiple configurations for different rigs or pedalboard setups? Use the Import / Export from File option to create a library of configurations for instant access.

Connections

MIDI DIN output – sends standard MIDI over 5-pin.
9V DC – compatible with most pedalboard power supplies, 30mA minimum.
MultiJack – MIDI output (on tip, ring, or both,) MIDI input & output (input on ring, output on tip,) expression pedal, or dual footswitch.
USB MIDI - acts as a USB MIDI interface for your computer or tablet. Use this port to connect for editing.
USB HOST - connect a USB MIDI device here, including pedals or other Disaster Area Designs controllers. Works as both input and output, any MIDI sent to the HOST port from the device will be mirrored to the MIDI DIN port. Provides 5V power, 100mA.
